As people get overwhelmed during this pandemic they’re trying to seek things to do and places to visit that can be safely done. The good thing about these tacos is that it’s outside and you have no actual sitting. 

You can grab your tacos and eat them in the comfort of your own car.

One thing to note during these covid times is that the salsa area is kind of a free for all. Since it’s only on one small table at the end of the line people tend to crowd over it.

My suggestion is to just wait until the big groups have scattered. But ultimately it’s up to you. If you’re quick and know what you want you can probably do it with little to no contact with strangers.

Oh! One thing that I love about this taco spot is that they give you a potato at the end. It’s kinda random but I love potatoes. They won’t outright give it to you. You have to ask for it after you pay.

BE CAREFUL WITH THE FAKE TACOS!

The original taco spot moved from its original spot to the center of the street. When you turn onto Humboldt st you’ll immediately see a taco stand. THIS IS NOT THE ORIGINAL ONE! (map at the bottom) When you’re on Humboldt turn left and go in the alley Artesian PL. Here you’ll find cars parked along both sides of the street until you reach where the taco stand is.

This taco spot go so popular that it even attracted other vendors! There are people selling Mexican candies, esquites, fried Oreos, and agues frescos. They even have a spot that sells fresh over pizzas. PIZZA!!! A PIZZA STAND! I’ve never seen that before.

The tacos used to be just 1$ but due to covid and other limitations, the price went up by 25 cents. Which is still good in my book. 

If you’re not good at math they have a paper with the taco prices based on how many you bought. I guess people don’t know how to add decimals hehe. 

So if you want a spot to visit for good food and a fun atmosphere definitely check this spot out! Just remember to wear your mask.

The spot starts to open up at 6 pm so go from 6-630. The later you go the more crowded it will get.
